Darci Drake began training in an American-style ring, but has since honed her lucha libre skills with the help of Maniaco, Leon Magico, and other talented lucha legends. She incorporates lucha-style into her matches with American wrestlers to gain a competitive edge.

She first appeared in RCW on Aug. 1, 2009 as the referee for the Cage Match between senior official Alex Marrozos and Joey "Super Shot" Spector. Spector continuously harassed Darci until she could take no more, and after the match, paid Spector back for his disrespect. On Aug. 15, Darci was again a referee, this time in the Queen of the Ring Match between "El Mamacito" Ann Dromeda and La Reyna Pink. This match was the beginning of the rivalry between Darci and Pink, and Darci switched from officiating to an in-ring competitor. On Sept. 5, Darci teamed with TNA star Hernandez to battle the brother-sister pair of Spector & Pink, also known as Joe Reinagel's "Pride 'n' Joy." Darci continued to team with Hernandez on Oct. 24 to face Mr. Red & Cyber Gata in an incredible mixed-tag Lucha Rules Match. On Nov. 28, Darci ended the RCW career of Pink in a "Loser Leaves RCW Match" that also involved Angel Blue. On Jan. 2, Darci fought Angel Blue in a contest that went outside the ring, and ended with shady officiating. Darci was also 2009's "Sweetheart of the Year," evidence that she has the support of the fans as her career continues to grow.
