Lance Hoyt, now known as Vance Archer in WWE/ECW, was once known as Lance Rock and Dallas in TNA. What many fans don't realize is the deep-seeded roots he has in RCW. In 2002 & 2003, Lance was known as Shadow, a young wrestler with an incredible look and formidable size. He served as the muscle for then-RCW Champion Jeromy Sage and they, along with A.C. Riddick, comprised The STP (South Texas Posse). Eventually the team split apart and Lance became a challenger for Sage. A couple of years later after a hiatus from RCW due to his TNA run, Lance returned to RCW as Joe Reinagel's main charge in Reinagel's plan to take over River City Wrestling. Lance went on an assault of RCW's most loyal competitors, including The Texas Treats, and even bloodied and battered owner Brandon Oliver with a steel chair. On March 7, 2009, Lance teamed with Andy Dalton & Joey Spector to take on Hernandez, Don Juan and Oliver. However, on March 21, 2009, Lance ran into another TNA star and RCW faithful -- Hernandez! The two collided in a "Loser Leaves RCW Match" and Hernandez was victorious, and thus ending the RCW run for Lance Hoyt.
