Joe Reinagel

Joe Reinagel is the sports anchor for KENS-5, the CBS-affiliate in San Antonio, Texas. He took over the reigns from long-time broadcaster Dan Cook, a beloved anchor in San Antonio. Joe is married and the father of five children – ALL GIRLS! That’s enough for an all-girls basketball team! Most San Antonio residents know him for his expressions such as "right up the gut" or "the kid from New Braunfels," but were they surprised to see his passion for professional wrestling. What most people don't realize is that RCW owner Brandon Oliver's wife Jennifer and Reinagel were friends and co-workers at KENS-5. After having RCW wrestlers on the news a few times, Reinagel expressed his interest in getting involved. Reinagel was at first brought in for special occasions, such as being the emcee for the Bubba Dumplins Bodyslam Challenge.

However, the wrestling community was shocked when Oliver tabbed Reinagel as the Commissioner at the end of 2008. At first, everything seemed fine until rulings and stipulations seemed to favor other wrestlers, such as Lance Hoyt. It was all revealed when Lance and Reinagel assaulted Oliver and declared war upon RCW. Reinagel managed Hoyt until he lost a "Loser Leaves RCW" match to Hernandez on March 21, 2009. Reinagel then looked for any advantage, managing wrestlers such as his "Pride 'n' Joy" which consisted of Andy Dalton, Joey Spector and Pink, and at times sought help from others such as The HNIC. Reinagel set out to destroy RCW faithful wrestlers such as Don Juan, as he brought out Don Juan's secret lifestyle and thus the world began to know the one-time ladies' man as Ann Dromeda. Reinagel also issued a $5,000 bounty to anyone that could handcuff Oliver or Hernandez so his team could assault them. On June 6, 2009, Ray The Voice collected on the bounty (although Reinagel never paid Ray), turning against Oliver and handcuffing him to the ropes and then stapling Oliver's chest. Reinagel also got physical with "original diva," Sunny. On July 18, 2009, Reinagel made his first in-ring appearance and RCW became Reinagel Championship Wrestling. On that date, Reinagel won control of the company due to a stipulation in the mixed handicap match between Oliver, Hernandez and Ann Dromeda vs. Reinagel, Spector, Dalton, Pink & Mr. Yebisu. Reinagel even scored the pinfall on Oliver! Oliver then became Reinagel's slave as Reinagel threatened to sell the company. Oliver had to shine shoes, wash cars, clean toilets, answer phones and other jobs under the direction of Reinagel.

Due to his outside commitments, Reinagel began placing his "Pride 'n' Joy" in charge of RCW until Hernandez, encouraged by a spirited rebellion led by Ray The Voice, took back control from Reinagel's crew. Then in the days leading up to Nov. 28, 2009, Oliver smashed a bucket over Reinagel's head, took Reinagel's hand, and made him sign papers that gave the company back to Oliver. Since then, Reinagel hasn't been seen.
