"Mr. Beautiful" Rudy Russo

Height: 5'9"
Weight:200 lbs.
Hometown: Corpus Christi, Texas
Finisher: Gory Bomb

Known as "Mr. Beautiful," Rudy Russo was trained Chavo Guerrero Sr. Currently, Russo is also one half of a tag team with "New Style" Ben Galvan known as the Gulf Coast Connection.

When Russo first came to RCW at the end of 2005, Russo was an arrogant young man, carrying a mirror to the ring with him so "Mr. Beautiful" could always check out his reflection in the ring. Russo immediately jumped into a rivalry with "The Smashing Machine" Ikaika. Most thought the young man was crazy for initiating a rivalry with Ikaika until Ikaika's best friend, Aguila Nergo, turned his back on Ikaika and joined Russo on Jan. 28, 2006. The duo kept antagonizing Ikaika until March 2006 when at Breaking All of the Rules I, Ikaika defeated Showtime Summers and was granted five minutes with Aguila and Russo, and Ikaika extracted his revenge.

Rudy Russo switched gears in 2007 and soon was adored by the fans. Russo, infact, faced Aguila Negro at an event in Nov. 2007. In 2009, Russo returned to RCW after a short hiatus and soon began teaming with Ben Galvan. On July 18, 2009, The Gulf Coast Connections faced The HNIC (Big Dogg & Keith Lee) for the Tag Team Championship. However, before the match, Lee announced he didn't bring his half of the title and therefore only Dogg's half of the championship would be up for stake. Russo pinned Dogg, and The GCC had one-half of the Tag Team Championship. On Aug. 1, 2009, The GCC fought Keith Lee in a Handicap Match to unify the Tag Team Championship. Mick Foley served as special guest referee and Trina Michaels was Lee's valet. Lee managed to grab the victory and unify the titles.

On Oct. 3, 2009, Andy Dalton injured Ben Galvan. Galvan's shoulder was separated and since then has been unable to compete. Russo has sworn revenge, and the two have been interfering in each other's matches.
